We cannot say enough wonderful things about the team at Arbor Terrace Hamilton Mill! ❤️ From the very beginning, Whitney and LaTange on the Sales Team have been absolutely amazing. They have been helpful, kind, engaging, patient, and genuinely invested in helping our mother make the transition to independent living. They have made what could have been a difficult adjustment feel so much easier for our entire family. Most importantly, it is clear that they sincerely care about the people who live there—not just the business of getting someone moved in. Our mother loves it there, and that means everything to us. We also want to give a very special thank-you to Sodiah, the Dining Manager, and her entire team. The dining experience at Arbor Terrace Hamilton Mill is truly exceptional. The atmosphere is beautiful, the food is consistently wonderful, and the staff provides a level of service that honestly rivals—and in many cases exceeds—what you would experience at a very nice restaurant. But what stands out most is the people. The kindness, attentiveness, warmth, and genuine interest they show our mother have made such a difference in helping her feel comfortable, connected, and at home. Choosing a senior living community for someone you love is a huge decision, and there are so many things families worry about. We feel incredibly grateful that our mother is at Arbor Terrace Hamilton Mill and surrounded by people who treat her with such care and respect. Whitney, LaTange, Sodiah, and the entire Arbor Terrace team—thank you for everything you do. You have made this transition so much more positive than we ever could have hoped, and we are truly grateful. 💜 If you are considering Arbor Terrace Hamilton Mill for someone you love, we highly recommend them. Our experience has been nothing short of wonderful.
Response from the owner
There is nothing quite like hearing that your mother loves it here. Whitney and LaTange approach every family the way they approached yours, more interested in whether someone will be happy than in whether someone moves in, and it means a great deal to know that came through. Sodiah and her dining team will be thrilled by your description of the dining room, and we will make sure the whole staff hears what you wrote. You are right that choosing a community for someone you love is an enormous decision, and we are grateful you trusted us with it. Please give your mom our best, and know that our door is always open to your family.

My in-laws moved in a week ago, and everything has been amazing! From the time I first came over to visit, everyone has been very helpful. Tange was great answering all of the my questions, and when the furniture was being delivered, Hailey at the front desk, helped coordinate the delivery. Once they moved in, I came over for dinner, and the food and service were outstanding! Sodiah and her staff, are very attentive and greet everyone by their name. In fact, Sodiah remembered my daughter’s name, and she met her one time a few weeks ago! All the residents know when anyone new has moved in, and they come over to introduce themselves, which is usually during one of the meals. Finally, Becky makes sure there are numerous activities you can get involved in. The hospitality here makes everyone feel welcomed, and we couldn’t be happier!

What a wonderful first week to hear about. Tange, Hailey, Sodiah, and Becky will all be so glad to know the part they played in making your in-laws' move feel smooth and welcoming, and we will be sure to pass your kind words along to each of them. Sodiah has a real gift for remembering the people who matter to our residents, and it sounds like the residents themselves did their part too with those introductions over dinner. Thank you for sharing this, and welcome to the Arbor Terrace Hamilton Mill family.

Had a wonderful afternoon today at Arbor Terrace in Hamilton Mill. We were there to honor one of their residents who is a World War II and Korean War Veteran. Becky, Wagner Arbor Terrace‘s lifestyle Director and her staff coordinated this heartwarming event in the comforting Bistro lounge area. It’s truly amazing to see how much Arbor Terrace does for their residence and veterans. What a beautiful location with such a caring staff. Thank you Becky, for your kindness and hospitality.. Thank you for being part of such a meaningful afternoon at Arbor Terrace Hamilton Mill. Honoring a resident who served in both World War II and Korea is exactly the kind of moment our team is proud to help create, and Becky and her staff put a great deal of heart into the details. We will be sure she hears your kind words. We are grateful to the Jacob Braselton Chapter NSDAR for your partnership and hope to work together again soon.

I am extremely disappointed with the care my mother received at Arbor Terrace. She was there for only five days, and during that time emergency services were called twice without first contacting her family. From the beginning, we made it clear that we wanted ongoing communication with the memory care staff, but communication only occurred after emergencies had already happened. During my mother's entire stay, the Memory Care Director, Abby, was never present in the building. When concerns were raised, responsibility was placed on my mother, who suffers from dementia, rather than addressing the facility's approach to her care. If she refused medication, staff simply did not administer it and did not appear to explore alternative methods or solutions. Our experience left us feeling that this facility prioritizes business operations over individualized care. If a resident does not easily adapt to Arbor Terrace's methods, it seems they may not receive the support needed to succeed there. If this facility really care for their residents they would call me, instead of sending an automated review reply. They are a business that do not care about their residents. I am writing this review to warn other people that might potentially be looking at this company to take care of their loved one. At the end of the day they do not care they just want your money. They care about the money. After paying approximately $7,000 for a five-day stay, we felt the facility was unwilling to work collaboratively with our family. Following my mother's final trip to the emergency room, Arbor Terrace refused to allow her to return. By that point, based on our experience, we no longer wanted her to return either.
Response from the owner
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, and please know we take these concerns seriously. The situation you describe regarding communication, medication management, and your mother's care does not reflect the standard we strive to uphold. We would welcome the opportunity to discuss this with you directly. Please contact our Executive Director, Andrea Webb, at 770-999-0421 so we can better understand what happened and address your concerns.
