I very much appreciated the care my husband received for the last part of his life. The staff helped us get hospice care and were so supportive during this difficult time.

As a care manager, I work with many communities. I recognize those with mental health and cognitive challenges have been dealt a challenging hand. It truly take a village to do it right. The Golden house with Lea and her team along with many others jumping in supported my client until it was time for her to say goodbye here on earth. Lea has an amazing way of never giving up on someone no matter how difficult it can be. Her team stands beside her and they follow in the same footsteps. What a Truly Phenomenal HOUSE for dementia residents!!! All of the staff are genuinely invested in every single resident individually. My Mother lived there for over a year and I am eternally grateful for all the kindness, care and LOVE that flows seamlessly throughout every day!! This is the place, when that heart wrenching decision needs to be made for your loved one. Memory care is understood, your loved one will be well cared for allowing you the caretaker to have peace of mind. Unfortunately, this disease has come way too early to my mothers precious life and the road has been difficult, save your time and heartache. Applewood is well known in the community to be the BEST and IS the best facility. The ability to choose from different options to fit my mothers needs and finances has removed a lot of stress for our family. This facility provides amazing activities with their long time activities coodinator-Nora she strives at creating great memories The care is tailored to each individuals needs.

Applewood Upham has been a wonderful home for my mom. Her very first day was very difficult and the Upham team and Sherri were there to help my mom and even support us. There is always excellent communication from the staff as to my mom's needs and care. I am so incredibly thankful to have found this home where my mom is always so well cared for. She is treated like the special person that she is and it means the world to me. For her birthday recently they threw her a great party with all of the fixings!
