I want to share my experience with Angels Haven Board and Care in hopes that it brings peace, comfort, and clarity to any family facing the difficult decision of finding the right home for their loved one. My dad has Alzheimer’s, and for the past six years he lived with me. As a mom of four, I was doing everything I could, but eventually I had to face the painful truth that no one was getting 100% of me. Not my kids, not my dad, and not myself. It was an emotionally heavy decision to transition him into care, but Angels Haven made that journey feel supported, gentle, and truly blessed. We moved from Orange County a year ago, completely unaware that we had moved right next door to Angels Haven. Over time, we built a genuine relationship with Johnny and Ricardo. They consistently asked how my dad was doing, how I was doing, and never once pressured me. For an entire year, they simply showed up with kindness, patience, and hearts of gold. They even welcomed my dad to come visit, have lunch, and spend time there so we could see if it would be a good fit. Again, no pushing, only compassion. When the time finally came in September, my dad moved into their Lake Elsinore home, which ended up being the perfect match for him. Like any transition, it wasn’t easy, but the support from the staff has been nothing short of extraordinary. They are attentive, present, and truly caring. They dance with him, play games, involve him in activities, and make sure he feels safe, loved, and at home. Speaking of home... Their homes are beautiful. Warm, inviting, and truly “homey.” Not clinical, not cold… but places where you can instantly feel comfort. They even let me bring my dad’s own furniture and recreated the way it looked when he lived with me. That meant the world. And the food! Home-cooked, delicious meals — something that was incredibly important to me. Knowing he is eating well, surrounded by people who genuinely care, helps me sleep at night. The truth is, he is getting better, more attentive care there than I could give while stretched so thin. He has one-on-one support, companionship, and new friends. And most importantly, he is happy. I can see it. I can feel it. In a nutshell: Angels Haven is a 10/10. I would recommend them to absolutely anyone who wants their loved one to be treated with dignity, love, and genuine care. Johnny and Ricardo have given me something priceless — peace of mind — and I will forever be grateful. Ricardo was amazing to work with. They helped get my dad settled into the new home. Took online payments, which was super easy. The home was easily the prettiest that I visited, and I visited a lot. He had options of single or double occupancy. The team catered to my dad and his food wants/cravings. I felt like they were prepared to deal with the difficulty of dementia, especially as my dad’s memories were fading. I especially appreciate Ricardo for talking to me and helping me navigate care prior even being a resident. He was great and knowledgeable. 10/10 recommend.

I cannot speak highly enough about the exceptional care my grandfather receives at this board and care home. From the moment we first visited, we were struck by the warmth, attentiveness, and professionalism of the staff. The environment felt warm, clean, and truly like a home—not a facility. The staff was attentive, caring, and treated the residents with genuine compassion. If you're looking for peace of mind knowing your loved one is in good hands, this is the place. On a scale from 0 to 10, my recommendation is a solid 20. If I could give more than five stars, I would.

Angel’s Haven Care Residential Assisted Living Home - Lake Elsinore is an exceptional facility. The staff is attentive and genuinely cares about the residents. The environment is warm, welcoming, and always clean. It truly feels like home.
