My mother lived in an assisted living apartment here for four years, two of them with my father before he passed away. We chose Burlington Creek because they have more progressive levels of care than most assisted living facilities and we did not want to have to move them as they needed more care. My parents received stellar care from several caregivers over those years but one stands out and that is Shaundrea. Shaundrea always went above and beyond and showed true feelings of compassion and care for my mother. Shaundrea mentored other amazing caregivers and worked so well with the hospice team that cared for my mother the last year of her life. My mother looked forward to the nights Shaundrea worked because she trusted her and knew she was genuine in her care. She also treated our family and friends with respect and grieved with us when my mother passed. Our experience, overall, at Burlington Creek was positive and we were thankful for their care for my mother.

The care my elder received when living at Burlington Creek was attentive, individualized, and for the most part outstanding. In particular, as she was in hospice in her final months, several of her caregivers went above and beyond out of their genuine love and concern for her, along with their expertise in elder care. One was Shaundrea. She was so wonderful with her, as were Dakota, Nika, Lucky, Linda, and Hilary. So many other good souls too. Shaundrea's gentleness with her care, her companionship, and her observations of what was needed and when was invaluable. She often just popped in to say hi for a moment- a much needed brightness to a day. I will always be grateful for the care my beloved received in her years of living there.

You need to clone everyone in the memory care unit after Jennifer. She is a star employee. also, I want to command Kaitlyn, who is a new employee and she is making a real difference in the attitude of Service to the patients and memory care. Thanks for bringing her own board. She's 100%.

I have been off and on in the healthcare field for over twenty years. However the staff at American Home Burlington Creek far surpress outstanding and compassion care for their residents and anyone who walks through their doors. Their Excecutive Director, Ms. Darrian Blackwell, truly is passionate about her job and caring, along with her staff; Paige Hale,Move in Coordinator; Katie Klein,Dir. of Wellness; Hilary Trumble, Bus. Office Mgr. in conjunction with their whole support (Nurses, Med Techs, CNAs, Dining Personnel, etc.) team. My husband and I have never dreamed we would find true loving people. My husband and I have had some personal challenges since coming to American Home but the Director has been there through it all caring, empathic, professional and with compassion and prayers. I would not recommend anyone that wants their love one cared for and loved to take them any where but AMERICAN HOME OF BURLINGTON CREEK. I truly feel my husband who has demenita could not be in a better place, nor myself. There are not enough words to express my heartfelt thankfulness displayed to me and my husband while here. We could age here safely and loved. Thank you, Ms.Blackwell and your impressive staff. Also Ms. Linda Nelson for introducing me to AH.

The company has changed a few times over the years for better or worse. The constant is how wonderful the staff treat my mom and other patients. Shaundrea goes out of her way to be helpful, compassionate, and kind. Knowing she is there (and too many others to name them all) provides me with a sense of relief. I trust my moms health and happiness in her care.
