Altenheim Health & Living Community

Altenheim has made my parents life easier. They have also made my life easier. They provide 24 hour care which I could not. They provide doctors and nurses and many other services such as Podiatry, Dental, and grooming. When I visit my parents, I enjoy spending time with both of them. my father, who is in memory care and bound to a wheelchair is not a physical burden on my mother or me. He is now enrolled in hospice care and they also provide services and supplies that we no longer need to purchase. How my parents came to be at Altenheim was after my father, while still walking fell and broke his shoulder. He came to Altenheim for physical therapy in the rehab facility. At that time we knew he had dementia and we were able to get him in at Altenheim. Of course mother did not want to leave him so she became a resident of Altenheim in independent living. Altenheim has been a tremendous help for my family.

Very good relationships with all the nurses and they try to make my husband comfortable and try to take care of all his needs which he can be very angry sometimes and hard to deal with

My mother was in memory care and now my wife is. The staff has been exceptional and I have complete faith in the care they provide. Their thorough and provide good communications. A special shout out to Agnes and Rachel!
