What really stands out is how Olivia Viramontes truly cares about the residents. She listened carefully to my needs, answered all my questions with patience and enthusiasm, and made the whole visit enjoyable and memorable. It’s rare to find someone who combines such outstanding service with a fantastic attitude like this. I will definitely be returning!

My wife and I recently completed a month long respite stay at Aegis Living in Ventura. We couldn’t be more pleased with our experience. What stood out most for us was the caring staff. Everyone (management, med techs, dining room servers, cleaners and activity leaders) were all professional, friendly and helpful in any way possible. The dining experience was like going to a restaurant, with daily specials as well as a dozen or so seasonal alternatives to choose from. The servers quickly learned our names, beverage and side order preferences and the kitchen was happy to accommodate special requests. Activities (discussions, crafts, exercise, movies, etc.) were offered all day long, seven days a week, led by enthusiastic staff. An onsite beauty salon had both hair and nail care that my wife was very pleased with. Our apartment was very comfortable, well furnished and decorated. The building had a homey feel, not at all institutional. The large courtyard was a lovely place to visit, with many benches and as well as a gazebo to enjoy the flowering trees and bushes. Anyone who is considering assisted living, short or long term, owes it to themselves or their loved one to take a tour of Aegis Living.

One of my family members were here and one of the young ladies of the staff were very rude and neglective towards my grandmother. Wouldn’t even give a one star :(
