This place is a grift from top to bottom. My dad lived there for A few of his last years through the pandemic. In that time, He was robbed and taken advantage of because the people that work there knew that family members could not get into the building, at the time. The management does not care. Their motto is serviced with a smile (just nod and agree And ignore until the person/ problem goes away.) They have been sued several times. I always tell people to stay away from any ageis location. If You are looking for a retirement center on the north side of Seattle. I highly recommend Aljoya. That place is fantastic! I had to move my dad From there only because they do not have memory care. However, given how terrible Our situation became at Aegis, I would have rather kept him at Aljoya.

My husband, Brian, moved into Aegis Ravenna in April 2025. After visiting local assisted living facilities in the area Aegis Ravenna was the only facility that looked possible due to its size and the interactions I saw between the residents and care providers which were all positive and supportive. The director, Reza Baharmast, has obviously set the tone from his office for those who care for the facility. I visited often and never experienced any negativity from anyone who worked here. My husband had a small workshop in his room that Reza visited to advise about appropriate tools and even then, Brian appreciated his tact and concern. From the first visit to tour the facility to the last interaction with the administrative staff I was treated with courtesy, compassion and understanding. In addition, the facility is beautiful with an Italian theme that enhances the ambience in all of the spaces from the reception area with huge reproductions from a movie set in Italy, the hallways with photographs from various Italian towns and the community spaces and dining room -- all are thoughtfully and expertly fashioned and cared for.
