Aegis Living Kirkland

An extremely competent and caring staff all around. When I walk into this Aegis I can feel that it's a very close-knit community. The staff truly cares about their residents. It's like a big family.

We have been happy with the care team but they will constantly raise the rates with a confusing point system. What started affordable quickly became too much. We were constantly frustrated with the ever changing bills.

Aegis Living is very clean and the staff is very friendly and attentive. Aegis does not have much turnover in their management and in the care staff, which provides structure and continuity that is very important to the families of the residents. The staff truly cares about the residents.

My mom has lived at Aegis Living on Totem Lake Boulevard for almost 2 years. This is a place full of very caring people. Kristen was so very thoughtful helping us understand this next step of assisted living while calmly getting my mom settled into her new space. There has never been a difficulty, big or small, that wasn't solved with kindness & respect for my mom and the residents of this community. The energy & knowledge of the staff is exceptional along with the touches of joy and humor to brighten everyone's day. This is a beautiful space with top notch nurses and caregivers. I've been very happy with this choice and so has my mom. She feels very safe there. Everyone works hard to keep it that way and it is much appreciated by our whole family.

My friend has only lived at Aegis of Kirkland for the past two months. It’s been a tough battle for him because he needed immediate care coming out of the hospital. Aegis worked with us and the hospital to arrange the respite care that he needed and they continue to work their magic to this day. Since spending time at the facility, I have only witnessed kindness, tenderness and caring from the staff, not only to my friend but to all that enter the building. Angela and Kristen especially have worked hard to make sure that everyone feels like family and their needs, whether they are physical or emotional, are considered at all times. The gentle way about them have helped me more that they will ever know through these times of challenge. Everything else is excellent as well. The food, the private apartments, the support and care from both inside and outside resources for the residents I truly couldn’t be more impressed with. As I see my friend continuing to improve, I now know that the next chapter of his life (whatever that translates to) will only be enhanced by living at Aegis. I am truly appreciative of the staff for creating a loving home that nurtures my friend as he goes through one of the biggest battles of his life. I sleep better at night with the knowledge of when I leave him that he is in good gentle caring hands.
