Aegis Assisted Living of Aptos

Since our Mom has been at Aegis, first in Assisted Living and then transferring to Memory Care, we have been consistently impressed with the quality and dedication of the staff - carers, nursing and administration alike. When something needs to be adjusted in her care plan, it's easy to work with the management staff. The facility itself is beautiful, clean and spacious. We know our Mom is safe, well cared for by carers who are respectful, competent and kind. As her cognitive faculties decline (Alzheimer's) and her need for care increases, we couldn't be more grateful that she is at Aegis.

I’ve worked in health care for 20 years, and having to place my mother in memory care and trust others to care for her was one of the most difficult decisions I’ve had to make. However, it turned out to be one of the best decisions during this challenging journey. She is happy at Aegis, and the peace of mind that comes from knowing she is safe, well cared for, and treated with compassion is priceless. Thank you to all the caregivers and staff!!

My mother was cared for here at Aegis for the last couple years of her life in the memory care section as she suffered from Alzheimer's. She passed away in 2006. It's taken me way too long to get around to thanking them for taking care of my mother. Thank you, Aegis! I found their facility to be well laid out and furnished, beautiful, cozy and clean. The staff was great and super helpful. I'm so glad that we got to have my mother live with them at the end, as they made an extremely difficult situation for our family bearable.
