From the moment I walked into Abundant Wellness Residence in West Hills, I could immediately feel the warmth, kindness, and genuine care that makes this home so special. The owners, Trixie and Monee, are incredibly compassionate, patient, and attentive, and knowing they are both Registered Nurses gave me an extra sense of comfort and trust. The home is spotless, beautifully maintained, and provides a safe, loving, and welcoming environment for residents. You can truly see how much heart and dedication they put into the care they provide every day. I highly recommend Abundant Wellness Residence to anyone looking for exceptional care and a wonderful home for their loved one.

While we have not moved my mother into this facility as of yet, its at the top of our list for two key reasons: 1. The proprietors are nurses, meaning they have valuable experience and intimate familiarity with patient care considerations. 2. The facility looks and feels like a homes not a “facility”. The aesthetics are warm and welcoming and resemble a home in many ways. The attention to detail (such as subtle wireless call buttons on lanyards that can be positioned as needed). There are two real fireplaces to provide the warmth of a hearth. Nice greenery and accessibility in both the front and back yards. — I can’t say that this facility is right for your needs, but I can say I would recommend anyone looking for an assisted living facility that does not feel like a generic healthcare room stop by and give this a look. It’ll be worth your time.

Monee and Trixie, thank you for the tour. I wanted to begin this review by stating the reason why I requested the tour. I am blessed to be the son of an aging parent and parent-in-law while I also age. There may come a time when my parents or I will need assistance, whether it be temporary or long-term. I also have family and friends who, like me, do their best to care for their loved ones at home but understand there may be times when we need assistance. This is not a decision I want to make while a crisis is occurring, which is why I want to identify resources now. Abundant Wellness Residence came up in my Google search and quickly grabbed my attention, especially with its location and the pictures of the home. I like that there are single- and multi-person accommodations, as I do not want myself or a loved one to feel isolated. The common spaces inside the home are nicely furnished yet still accommodate varying levels of mobility and enable residents to come together comfortably. The home has nice, tall trees around it that provide cool, shaded areas in the front and backyard. Although the home is off major roadways, it is still central to shopping centers and restaurants, yet far enough to avoid high pedestrian or vehicle traffic. With services like Lyft and DoorDash, the surrounding area is more accessible than ever. Lastly, during the tour, I noticed that both of you really care about the space you provide, as evidenced by the way you speak about it and the details you put into the living spaces. I can only imagine that you will care for the residents in the same manner. One thing I keep in mind for my loved ones and me is that I do not want to find a place to stay; instead, I want it to be a place where I can live and thrive with support. Thank you, and God bless.
